Who is Dance-A-Palooza for?

Do I have to participate in everything?
Not at all! You can choose the parts of the day that suit you best. Whether you want to do the grading, attend the workshops, join the games night, or all three, it’s entirely up to you.
Is the grading session competitive?
No, it’s a supportive environment designed to help you grow. Grading offers personal feedback based on your dancing skills, musicality, and expression, without the pressure of formal competition.
What level of dancer is this event for?
Dance-A-Palooza is open to all levels: from brand-new beginners to seasoned competitors and performers. Our workshops and grading sessions are structured to be accessible, challenging, and fun for everyone.
Do I need a dance partner to attend?
No partner needed! Many activities are designed to rotate partners and build community. If you prefer to stay with your partner for workshops or grading, you’re absolutely welcome to do so.
What styles of dance will be covered in the workshops?
Our workshops are broad and inclusive. Expect a mix of ballroom, Latin, fusion styles, styling, musicality, and partner connection exercises. There’s something for every dancer to explore and enjoy. You can find a detailed breakdown here.
Can I attend just the Games Night?
Absolutely! If you only want to come for the evening social and games, you can purchase a Games Night ticket separately.
Can spectators come and watch?
Yes! Family and friends are welcome to come and watch the grading session during the day. Spectators can also attend the games night (a small entry fee may apply).
Will food and drinks be available?
Light snacks and water will be available, but we recommend bringing a water bottle and any snacks you might want throughout the day. There will be a break between grading and workshops for anyone wanting to grab a proper meal nearby.
